Each portrait is a hand-drawn pastel artwork, lovingly created to capture the unique character and spirit of your beloved animal. All portraits are supplied mounted and ready for framing.

Backgrounds

I love the timeless elegance and calm that comes from no background at all, allowing your animal to remain the true focus of the portrait. Backgrounds are therefore kept very simple and may be discussed, with final choices remaining at the artist’s discretion.

Booking & Payment

A 20% non-refundable deposit is required to secure your commission. The remaining balance is due on completion, prior to dispatch. Payment is accepted via PayPal or bank transfer.

Timescale & Updates

Once started, portraits take approximately two to three weeks to complete. You will receive regular updates throughout the process, sharing the journey of your portrait as it comes to life. If your portrait is for a special occasion, please let me know when booking so I can ensure it is completed in time.

Artwork Use

Unless otherwise requested, completed artwork may be shared on my social media and website as part of my portfolio. For gifted portraits, artwork will only be shared once I’ve been informed that the gift has been given, to ensure no surprises are spoiled. Please let me know at the time of booking if you would prefer your portrait not to be shared at all — I completely respect this.

Photo Reference

A high-quality photograph will always provide the best results. Additional reference photos are very welcome, especially to help capture accurate colours, markings, and personality. Clear lighting and good focus will allow me to create a portrait that truly reflects your beloved animal.
